LSDI developed the ball chain and retriever concept to help save installation time. Since its introduction, it has evolved into a “must have” tool for retrofit installation. The Wet Noodle Retrieval System has been updated to now contain three components: a 24" flexible insulated retriever with an ultra strong earth magnet attached at one end; 10ft. of lightweight ball chain with a stop-ring; and an 18" telescoping pocket retriever. This system provides a fast and easy solution to connecting an in-wall entry point to an exit point blindly (without vision tools) to pull wire.

The improved FishTix™ II Cable installation kit is designed to pull large, heavy cable bundles across long areas such as cable trays, suspended tile ceilings and even under raised flooring common in data rooms. Great for data and communications installations, the FishTix 4ft. rod sections are made of a flexible non-conductive tubular material with snap together detent connectors. Snap the rods together to reach your desired length – in cable trays, the length can be infinite! The FishTix rods offer extreme tensile strength capable of handling over 200lbs. of pulling force. The standard kit comes with twelve 4ft. rods for a total available length of 48ft. Additional 4ft. sections can be added or multiple kits can be combined to reach longer lengths.

The Fish Tailz™ Pull Sock Kit is an ultra convenient assortment of eight different expandable, flexible mesh pull socks for pulling bundled or non-bundled wire and cable up to 2" in diameter. Each mesh sock is made of our proprietary, flexible, expandable and contractible tight weave monofilament mesh. Similar to a “Chinese finger trap,” these socks easily slide onto cable bundles yet provide a super strong grip on the cable when pulled with tension. In each sock, the mesh is fused to an ultra strong bull nose at one end with a cross-hole to allow you to connect your mesh sock to a pull line without taping.

All eight mesh socks are contained in a handy nylon organizer roll-up case that provides easy removal and identification of each sock and it’s diameter. Hook and loop fasteners keep your organizer case rolled-up and secure. Individual mesh socks are available separately.

These Steel Fish Wires are designed to fish wire in short to long runs or in applications demanding more flexibility than fiberglass. Made of high grade .047 diameter spring steel, these fish wires are available in standard lengths from 3ft. up to 100ft. (see chart below) and feature a centered eyelet on both ends for easy wire or pull cord attachment. The slim wires in the available longer lengths are vastly superior to traditional fish tapes in either short or long conduit runs where live circuits are not present. All fish wires over 10ft. in length come with case for convenient storage.

Our 25ft. Stainless Steel Under Carpet Fish Tape is intended for running low voltage wiring between a carpet and pad. The metal tape is constructed of a high grade stainless steel, 3/4" wide by 25ft. long and comes in a durable plastic storage case. A curl on the leading end provides a non-snag tip to tunnel under carpet to your destination - even over waffle type padding. Both ends have attachment points for wiring or pull cord.

The Fish-Eze kit is designed for installing wires through headers (door or window) and up into attics in a fast and efficient way. This tool eliminates the most difficult step of fishing wire through these difficult structures by using a unique combination of tubes and spring wire to push wire through the header. The memory coiled wire will coil into the attic, eliminating the need to support the wire from below. This eliminates the need for a second installer performing this function as you retrieve your wire in the attic.

The Grabbit series of telescoping poles are constructed of non-conductive, lightweight, shockproof, friction locking telescoping fiberglass. The tool is indispensable for running (pushing or pulling) wires or cables through limited access areas and false ceilings. The Grabbit is designed for both residential and commercial installations. The tool includes our patented Z-tip wire “grabber” tip. The inner V of the Z-Tip has a double knife edge designed to literally grab the wire insulation without cutting the actual metal wire, while the outer V (without knife edge) is designed to push a wire loop. Both the GR12 and GR18 now include a new handy snap-on light accessory included for seeing in dim lighting. Just snap on the LED light in dark applications, and snap it off when not in use. Replacement GRABBIT clip-on lights are available separately.
