We developed this unique drill bit to create a curved hole from just below carpet line up into the center of the floor plate in the wall cavity. Avoid the messy and time consuming alternative of removing the base board and chiseling out a path through the wall and the wood floor plate. This tool provides a clean, professional installation when you need to route wire or cable from the floor level up into the wall. Great for slab construction, concrete floors or under-carpet wire applications. The unique function of this tool is a product of our innovative, patented design there is nothing else like it! The study powder coated steel frame directs the specialized cable shaft paddle bit up along an arc into the wall cavity so that you prevent drilling through the opposite wall surface. The Base-Boar-Zit® is now available in two sizes: the standard 5/16" size and the larger 7/16" size to accommodate coax. Each size is shipped as a kit that includes the cable bit with frame, a 10ft. thin fish wire in storage case (to fish your wire or cable through the curved hole) and hex wrench.

This high quality auger bit may become one of your most used drill bits. Fabricated by Freeform using advanced manufacturing techniques, this bit includes an integral lead screw with course threads for precise drilling. The lead screw minimizes bit drift or "walk" and will help "pull" the bit through wood, taking less effort by the installer. The bit is made of a fully heat treated, high quality carbon steel for strength and is formed having wide flutes to carry drill debris and chippings away from the bit head to reduce clogging. The shaft length is 18" with a standard 1/4" diameter shank so it can be used with our 1/4" shank EXT™ Series flexible drill bit extensions.

The Reference Point Bit is an extremely small (0.047" diameter) wire bit for preliminary identification of drill bit path. Made of 36" long spring wire, this bit can be cut at an angle and any length to make the smallest "reference" bit. Packaged as a convenient 10-pack.

You don’t always have the luxury of straight line access. Small spaces, obstructions or difficult approaches can prevent you from drilling or using a power screw driver in many retrofit installation situations. This right angle drill attachment is equipped with a 1/2" Jacobs Chuck and requires only 4-1/2" clearance (excluding bit length). Fits any 3/8" or 1/2" drill, and uses at 1:1 gear ratio.
