The Identify-Zit™ multifunction wire identifier is a simple to use troubleshooting tool designed for the high density installer who does not always have an assistant or helper on site. This tool can identify up to 32 different wire runs at the same time, without the need for a two man crew. Simply attach the appropriate Identify-Zit™ Cap to one end of each wire run (up to 32 runs) and attach the “decoder” to the opposite end and the number on the cap will appear on the decoder display screen. The Identify-Zit™ also checks for continuity and will display "CC" (for closed circuit) if there is a "shorted" connection, "OC" for a failed connection/open circuit, or "OO" if there is too much resistance on the line. The Identify-Zit™ Identifier saves enormous time, particularly when testing multi-line high density panel or rack installations. The Identify-Zit™ Identifier comes packaged in a protective case in one of five different base applications:

• Wire
• Coax (F connectors)
• BNC (for CCTV connectors)
• Telephone (RJ11 connectors)
• CAT-5 (RJ45 eight wire connectors)

In each base application, the kit can be ordered with either 8, 16, 24 or 32 caps for that specific application. For maximum versatility, order your base kit in the application you install most. Order additional caps for other applications so that you can use your Identify-Zit™ Identifier in all your installation jobs. All kits come with IDZ Decoder.

Qualifying as one of the "most important" tools in the installer’s kit, a stud sensor is vital to retrofit wire and cable installation. The Zircon® stud sensor series are among the most accurate and reliable stud sensors available. These sensors are easy to use and have the ability to determine stud position and detect fire block obstruction location, both essential when utilizing wall position reference based wire installation techniques. Be sure before you drill or cut. Use a reliable stud sensor. The Stud Sensor Pro will provide simple stud and fire block location identification in wall material up to 3/4" deep.

The Triscanner™ provides all the features and performance of the Stud Sensor Pro with the additional capability of deeper scanning (up to 1-1/2" deep), constant AC detection of unshielded wire and metal locating for metallic plumbing and rebar.

The Chex-Zit™ is a combination continuity and electrical current tester used for performing routine diagnostics on circuits and wiring (low voltage applications up to 220v). The Chex-Zit™ is made of aircraft grade aluminum and buffed to a durable satin finish. A bright red LED indicates when continuity (no open circuits) or voltage is detected. Requires 2 AAA batteries (included).

The Test-Zit™ Audible Circuit Tester acts as a portable alarm panel only with a more rapid response. Most alarm panels will respond to an interrupted switch at between 500 to 750 milliseconds. The TZ-5 reaction time is an ultra-fast 50 milliseconds, allowing the installer to detect potential false alarm problems efficiently. This tester is an essential tool for alarm installers where multiple lines must be checked quickly and accurately. The TZ-5 offers a high and low volume setting, both with "Latch" (manual reset) or "Pulse" (automatically resets after three seconds) settings and open and closed circuit settings. This variety of settings allows this unit to be used on all alarm systems (including wireless).

The PCT1 is a coax cable single line identifier and splitter (short) tester. It is made of three components: the body or power pack, the "bandit" and an identifier cap with LED. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries (included) stored in the power pack.

The Dual Pocket Cable Tester is a dual version of our Pocket Cable Tester. It enables the installer to test and identify regular FC coax cable as well as BNC cables. This unit has five components that conveniently store in a carrying pouch: the power pack, the bandit, an FC-to-BNC converter, a FC identifier and a BNC identifier. Operates on 2 AAA batteries (included).
