Flexo Clean Cut braided expandable sleeving is ideal for field installers and other situations where access to a hot knife is either impractical or impossible. Clean Cut's fray resistant properties allows frequent expansion at the cut end without fraying or unraveling. When cut with a hot knife, CC provides a smooth, virtually frayless end.

CC is braided from 8 mil PolyEthylene Terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarns specially engineered to create a fray resistant end without artificial binders or other additives.

Wire Bundling and Cable Organization
For home or office wire management projects, CC is a perfect solution. Just measure, cut, install the sleeving over your bundle and forget about it. The sleeving expands up to 150% to fit over plugs and connectors.

Using a Hot Knife to cut braided sleeving

To ensure a frayless, professional end on any installation, it is recommended that expandable sleeving be cut with a hot knife, rope cutter or some similar tool. We offer a wide variety of hot knives, and you can find a guide to properly using a hot knife here

Terminating the installation with Heatshrink Tubing

Heatshrink tubing is the ideal way to create a tight, professional finish on any wire, hose or cable management project. Once shrunk, the tubing will hold its reduced state, even a elevated temperatures. Heatshrink terminations are tight and smooth, and the tubing will generally conform to fit around plugs or connectors.
