2:1 Shield Heatshrink Shrinkflex Shield conductive heatshrink tubing is a uniquely engineered dual wall system with an outer shell of strong and flexible Polyolefin heatshrink tubing with an inner liner of finely woven conductive cloth. When installed over wires, plugs, splices or terminals, the conductive material is brought into tight contact, even around irregular or asymmetrical shapes.
Shrinkflex Shield maintains all of the useful chemical and abrasion resistance characteristics of regular Shrinkflex 2:1 heatshrink tubing, and makes adding a primary or secondary EMI shield to wire or cable a snap.
Shrinkflex Shield is available in pre-cut 4' lengths, in diameters up to 1 1/2". Black only.
EMI Shielding and Physical Protection
Shrinkflex Shield conductive heatshrink tubing offers significant weight savings over conventional metal braid shield while still providing high levels of protection. The inner conductive liner is pressed into tight contact and remains flexible, uniform and intact even under mechanical stresses and vibration.
