Flexo PET
A Versatile and Economical Bundling & Protection Solution
Flexo PET (PT) is used in electronics, automotive, marine and industrial wire harnessing and management applications where cost efficiency and application durability are important. The unique braided construction allows expandability up to 150% or more for quick and easy installation over large connectors and long installation runs.

PT is braided from 10 mil PolyEthylene Terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarns. The material has a wide operating temperature range, resists chemical degradation, UV damage and abrasion.

Wire Bundling and Cable Organization
PT easily organizes large bundles of wires or cables for neat installation and management of network wires, or just for organizing the wires around your computer desk or home theater installation. When cut with a hot knife, the material leaves a finished end that can be terminated with heatshrink tubing, cable ties, or just hidden under clamps or plugs.

Color Coding Applications
The wide assortment of standard colors make PT an invaluable tool when color coding wire or cables for easy identification while protecting them from abrasion and wear.

Auto or Motorcycle Customization
PT resists most common automotive chemicals and comes in diameters up to 3", so it's great for dressing up wires and hoses on any car or bike to create a unique look on any customization or restoration project.

Flexo PET is available in several UV reactive colors. These products provide high visibility in regular light, and glow vibrantly when activated by any UV light source

Using a Hot Knife to cut braided sleeving
To ensure a frayless, professional end on any installation, it is recommended that expandable sleeving be cut with a hot knife, rope cutter or some similar tool. We offer a wide variety of hot knives, and you can find a guide to properly using a hot knife here.

Terminating the installation with Heatshrink Tubing
Heatshrink tubing is the ideal way to create a tight, professional finish on any wire, hose or cable management project. Once shrunk, the tubing will hold its reduced state, even a elevated temperatures. Heatshrink terminations are tight and smooth, and the tubing will generally conform to fit around plugs or connectors.
