Industrial DTHD Family Connectors & Accessories
Deutsch developed the DTHD Series for those applications requiring a complete, environmentally sealed, single power circuit termination. DTHD plugs and receptacles can be permanently assembled with thermoplastic end caps that prevent removal of the silicone wire seal grommets. Designed for diesel engine, electronic fuel injectors, automatic transmissions, ABS brakes and other applications that involve fuel and oil exposure. These end caps provide the additional reliability required for critical wiring Circuits.
Understanding Deutsch Part Numbers
Here is an example of a typical Deutsch part number for a DTHD Series connector. It might look something like this: DTHD04-1-12P. Here's what each segment of the part number represents:
DTHD: Product series (DTHD series)
04: Style (Receptacle)
1: Single Terminal
12: Contact Size (12)

The Different Deutsch Connector Series
DT Series: The DT Series is a rectangular connector system designed for use in harsh environments. It features a compact design, with contacts rated for up to 13 amps, and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements.
DTM Series: The DTM Series is similar to the DT Series but is smaller and more lightweight. It features a high-density design and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements, with contacts rated for up to 7.5 amps.
DTP Series: The DTP Series is a heavy-duty rectangular connector system designed for use in high-current applications. It features contacts rated for up to 25 amps and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements.
DTHD Series: The DTHD Series is a rectangular connector system designed for use in heavy-duty applications. It features a rugged design, with contacts rated for up to 60 amps, and is available in 4 to 60 cavity arrangements.
HD10 Series: The HD10 Series is a circular connector system designed for use in harsh environments. It features a rugged design and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements, with contacts rated for up to 13 amps.
HDP20 Series: The HDP20 Series is a heavy-duty circular connector system designed for use in industrial applications. It features a rugged design, with contacts rated for up to 25 amps, and is available in 2 to 47 cavity arrangements.Housing is constructed of thermoplastic.
HD30 Series: The HD30 Series is similar to the HD10 Series but is larger and more heavy-duty. It features contacts rated for up to 50 amps and is available in 2 to 104 cavity arrangements. Housing is constructed of Aluminum.
AEC Series: The AEC Series is a circular connector system designed for use in aerospace and defense applications. It features a lightweight design, with contacts rated for up to 23 amps, and is available in 2 to 61 cavity arrangements.
DRB Series: The DRB Series is a rectangular connector system designed for use in rugged industrial applications. It features a modular design, with contacts rated for up to 13 amps, and is available in 6 to 40 cavity arrangements.
DRC Series: The DRC Series is a circular connector system designed for use in motorsports and other high-performance applications. It features a compact and lightweight design, with contacts rated for up to 13 amps, and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements.
DTV Series: The DTV Series is a circular connector system designed for use in the transportation industry. It features a compact and lightweight design, with contacts rated for up to 13 amps, and is available in 2 to 12 cavity arrangements.
