The Ideal VDV II is a Voice Data Video Tester for wire mapping miswires, split pairs, shorts, and opens. It also easily identifies crossover and uplink cables. This device is also equipped with a 4 tone generator where each tone can be selected for all conductors or assigned to individual pins or pairs. Also to avoid damage to the tester, there is a voltage protection feature which alerts the user if there is any voltage present that may cause damage.
