These lightweight, high temperature airframe and avionics wires feature insulation made from cross linked, modified ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) copolymer. The ETFE insulation offers excellent resistance to high pH cleaning fluids, fuels, lubricating oils, and a wide range of chemicals. Designed to perform in extreme environments, the wires withstand temperatures from cold bend conditions as low as −65 °C up to 150 °C.
Mechanically tough, flame retardant, and weight saving, these wires provide an ideal solution for demanding aerospace applications. The cross linked, extruded ETFE insulation ensures lightweight construction, tight diameter tolerances, and enhanced mechanical durability, while also delivering exceptional resistance to radiation and chemical exposure.
