Fragola Caps & Plugs

Fragola Performance Systems caps and plugs are the professional-grade solution for terminating unused ports, capping open hose ends, and keeping your fluid systems clean and contamination-free during assembly, storage, or modification. Machined from aerospace-quality anodized aluminum to military-spec tolerances, they're built with the same precision and durability as the rest of the Fragola plumbing lineup. The range covers AN caps, external flare plugs, internal port plugs, and internal pipe plugs to handle virtually any sealing need on your build.

AN sizes run from -3 AN to -10 AN, with NPT pipe plug sizes spanning 1/16" through 1" to cover a wide variety of block ports and fittings. A hex grip on each piece ensures secure, tool-assisted installation, and the straight orientation keeps your plumbing layout clean and straightforward.

External Flare Plugs

Fragola External Flare Plugs are designed to seal off unused female AN flare ports in fuel, oil, coolant, brake, and hydraulic systems. These aluminum plugs feature a male AN flare and hex head design, allowing them to thread directly into an AN fitting or adapter to prevent fluid leaks and contamination. They are commonly used when a port may be needed later but is not currently in service.

Fitting Caps

Fragola Fitting Caps are the opposite of flare plugs, designed to seal male AN flare fittings. The female-threaded cap screws onto an exposed AN fitting, protecting the sealing surface from dirt, moisture, and damage while preventing fluid loss. They are frequently used during vehicle assembly, maintenance, storage, or when temporarily capping off a line.

Internal Port Plugs

Fragola Internal Port Plugs are used to seal unused straight-thread O-ring port (ORB) openings. These plugs thread directly into the port and seal with an included O-ring, creating a leak-free closure for fuel rails, regulators, pumps, manifolds, and other components that utilize ORB-style ports. Their internal hex or socket design provides a clean, low-profile installation.

Internal Pipe Plugs

Fragola Internal Pipe Plugs are designed to seal NPT (National Pipe Thread) ports. Featuring an internal Allen-head design, they install flush inside the threaded opening and create a secure seal in pipe-threaded fuel, oil, air, or coolant systems. Available in sizes from 1/16" NPT through 1" NPT, they are an excellent solution when a compact, professional-looking plug is desired.

AN Sizing

As a rule of thumb when selecting AN Hose to replace a given size automotive hose, the dash size is the nominal size 1/16”. Example –10, is 10/16” or 5/8” Automotive hose. The AN hose will be slightly smaller due to the thickness of the hose.
