The IDEAL® Ratchet Telemaster™ is a professional grade crimping tool built for high-volume everyday use in data and telecommunications installations. An industry leading tool for crimping Cat5e and Cat6 modular plugs for over 15 years, precision ground crimp teeth and a multi-plated steel-walled body keep the connector stable and all moving parts aligned throughout the crimp cycle for a perfect, consistent result every time. Where general purpose tools can inconsistently crimp contacts or flex under crimping stress, the Telemaster's rigid construction ensures every one of the eight contacts in an RJ-45 plug is fully and evenly seated on every termination.

The ratchet mechanism guarantees a full cycle crimp with each use, and the heavier duty construction requires less hand force per crimp compared to the standard 30-496 Telemaster, making it noticeably more comfortable during extended use. The multi-function design also cuts UTP/STP cable and strips Cat5e/6 flat cable jackets, and is compatible with industry standard RJ-45 (8P8C) and RJ-11/12 (6P6C/6P4C) modular plugs including most standard shielded Cat5e/6 plugs. Black oxide coated steel frame with cushioned handles rounds out a tool built to last.
