The IDEAL® Telemaster™ has been a trusted tool for network installers crimping Cat5e and Cat6 modular plugs for over 15 years. Precision ground crimp teeth and a steel-walled body keep the connector stable and all moving parts aligned throughout the crimp, ensuring every contact is fully and evenly seated. Many general-purpose crimp tools apply inconsistent pressure across the eight contacts of an RJ-45 plug, leading to weak conductor-to-pin connections and potential damage to mating ports. The Telemaster eliminates that problem with consistent, repeatable results on every termination.

A lighter, more compact, non-ratcheting version of the 30-696 Ratchet Telemaster™, this tool is built for installers who want precision without the added weight. The black oxide coated steel frame with cushioned handles provides strength and all-day comfort, and the multi-function design also cuts UTP/STP cable and strips Cat5e/6 round cable jackets. Compatible with industry standard Cat5e/6 RJ-45 (8P8C) and RJ-11/12 (6P6C/6P4C) modular plugs, including most standard shielded Cat5e/6 plugs.
