The IDEAL® Kinetic Super Wire Stripper/Crimper Kit is an all-in-one telephone and data cable splice and repair kit built for field technicians working with IDC butt and tap connectors. The Kinetic Super tool cuts, strips, and crimps 22-24 AWG telecommunications cables and is compatible with all industry standard IDC splice connectors including UR Red, UY Yellow, and UB Blue styles. The kit includes 25 gel-filled UR Red 3-wire butt splice connectors to get you started right out of the box.

What sets the Kinetic Super apart from standard linesman pliers or generic pivoting tools is its parallel surface action crimping design, which evenly seats the connector body without over-crimping or damaging the plastic shell. Traditional pivoting pliers simply cannot replicate this, often resulting in improperly seated wires or cracked connectors.
