Platinum Tools® Telecom Splicing Connectors are designed for fast, reliable wire splicing in telecommunications applications where speed and simplicity matter. Using an insulation displacement contact (IDC) design, these connectors require no wire stripping; just insert the conductors and the connector does the work, making them ideal for high-volume termination work in the field or on the bench. Each connector is gel-filled to provide moisture resistance and inhibit corrosion, extending the life of the connection in both indoor and outdoor environments. For use with solid copper conductors only.

The lineup covers butt splicing of 2 or 3 conductors of the same or different gauges across 19–26 AWG, making them versatile enough to handle a wide range of telephone and low-voltage telecom wiring scenarios, including pigtail and load coil splice applications. The UB connector offers an additional capability, tapping onto an existing conductor with no service interruption, eliminating the need to cut or open cable pairs. Available in UR (19–26 AWG) and UY (22–26 AWG) configurations.
