Deutsch HD10 Series

Designed for applications where the need for a Heavy Duty Industrial Connection is required. These rugged, long lasting, and completely sealed connectors are perfect for trucks and buses, heavy equipment and farm machinery, off-road, marine and recreational vehicles as well as plant equipment and robotics. When mated, the contacts are protected from moisture, sand, dust, lubricating oils, fuel, road salt, hydraulic fluid, grease, mud and other contaminants encountered in heavy duty operations. The HD10 Connectors are cylindrical and are quickly and easily inserted and removed eliminating problems associated with assembly and maintenance time.

The Deutsch HD10 series of connectors are precision engineered with silicone seals to provide positive, weather resistant connections, and to function flawlessly even after hundreds of connect/disconnect cycles. The HD is an environmentally sealed, thermoplastic connector series and offers arrangements from 3 to 9 cavities, All HD10 connectors are available either in-line of flanged and accept size 12 or 16 contacts, or a combination of size 16 and 4 contacts. The HD10 Series is heavily used for diagnostic connectors, eliminates problems associated with assembly and maintenance time, and is designed for long service life.

ABOUT BACKSHELLS: The Deutsch DT series backshells are designed to snap on to all the standard (without end caps) DT series connectors. The innovative design of the backshell accommodates several different sizes of slit or unslit convoluted tubing, sleeved cable bundles or unbundled loose wires. The backshells are available for both plugs and receptacles, in either straight or right angle configurations. Backshells with an internally molded in strain relief are also available.
